General eligibility:

Scholars-in-Residence

An immersive, four-week research residency in the humanities and social sciences, based at Victoria College, open to all students from the Faculty of Arts and Science, UTM, and UTSC. Learn more.

ONTARIO GOVERNMENT SUMMER EXPERIENCE PROGRAM (SEP)

Meaningful full-time summer work (for a minimum of 217.5 hours) in sectors including non-profit, municipalities, and Aboriginal organizations and First Nations communities. Learn more.

entrepreneurship hatchery's accelerator program

A summer program devoted to fostering entrepreneurship among U of T students. The Hatchery provides teams with the resources, mentorship and community necessary to launch their own startup. Learn more

Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum research institute (sinai health system) summer research program for undergraduates

Full-time, three-month opportunity for science students to work in a laboratory at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute. Learn more.

NSERC UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT RESEARCH AWARD (USRA)

Funds 16 consecutive weeks of summer research in the laboratory of a participating faculty member; students must have completed at least three or four academic terms of their bachelor's degree to be eligible. Learn more

SICKKIDS summer research program

Full-time, fifteen-week program at the Hospital for Sick Children to conduct laboratory research under the supervision of a Research Institute scientist. Learn more.

UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO EXCELLENCE AWARDS (UTEA) IN THE NATURAL SCIENCES AND ENGINEERING

Astronomy & Astrophysics: 

Summer Research opportunities at the Dunlap institute and the canadian institute for theoretical astrophysics.
